Every Medical Laboratory Science Professional practicing in Kenya is required to be registered and licensed with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) in accordance with the MLTT Act, 1999, Laws of Kenya.
Eligible applicants, upon completion of training in an approved institution, shall be required to sit a prescribed Board exam. Upon successful completion of the examination, the applicants will be required to submit the necessary documents for registration and licensing.
Note: The above fee depends on the year of University/College completion. Late registration will attract hefty penalties.
Professionals trained outside Kenya who wish to be registered by the Board shall be required to show proof of qualification/competency equivalent to the standards established in Kenya.
