Mandate


KMLTTB was established in 2000 by an Act of Parliament – Section 3 (2) of MLTT Act, 1999 (CAP 253A Laws of Kenya) to exercise general supervision and control over training, business, practice and employment of medical laboratory technicians & technologists in Kenya as well as advise the Government in relation to all aspects thereof

KMLTTB strives to ensure that medical services in the country are regulated and aligned to the global emerging trends in an effort to provide the highest quality medical services to Kenyans without compromise.
